Art For Women Today Release Party

Virginia Maria Romero participated in Art For Women Today, presented on October 19, 2024, at Galleri ArtSight in Stockholm. The event marked the official launch of a collaborative international project, bringing together a group of contemporary women artists in a shared effort to amplify creative voices through multidisciplinary work.

The release party drew a full and enthusiastic audience, with several participating artists उपस्थित to present a series of limited-edition art boxes. Project initiator Caterina Arciprete opened the evening with a keynote speech, setting the tone for a celebration of collaboration, artistic exchange, and collective achievement. The event concluded with a live performance by the Serayá, adding a dynamic, cultural layer to the experience.

Romero’s work contributed to a project that reflects both individuality and unity, aligning with her signature approach to bold visual storytelling and layered symbolism. As part of Art For Women Today, her work was included in a limited fine art collection featuring a series of artist-designed boxes—each containing curated prints produced on Hahnemühle paper—presented across multiple international exhibitions including Stockholm, Rome, Geneva, and Napoli.

The collective has continued to expand its impact, later producing a collaborative calendar featuring works from 13 artists, further extending the project’s reach and reinforcing its mission to create space for women’s voices in contemporary art. The calendars were presented in Stockholm in October 2025 and in Napoli in November 2025.
